John Brayton, M.D.

Dr. Brayton is a life long resident of Geneva, Illinois. He graduated Summa Cum Laude at Northwestern University Medical School Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Brayton's residency in neurological surgery was completed at the University of Iowa Hospitals. He was Assistant Professor in the department of Surgery, Division of Neurosurgery, University Iowa College of Medicine, and Staff Surgeon at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Brayton is a neurosurgeon certified by The American Board of Neurological Surgeons. On July 1, 1997, he joined the group of doctors with Neurosurgery & Spine Surgery, S.C. He is an avid speaker giving presentations and lectures regionally and nationally. Dr. Brayton has been a guest on area radio stations answering questions related to back pain and the spine. Dr. Brayton's memberships in Medical Societies include: American Board of Neurological Surgery, American Medical Association, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Illinois Neurosurgical Society, Illinois State Medical Society and Kane County Medical Society.
